Free, with no sign-up: the example opens in the editor as your own draft. You replace the fictional details with your own.

Why this CV is built the way it is

  • The profile summary explains the change

If you come from another profession, you have to say why and with what. Otherwise the reader sees twelve years of retail and puts the application aside.

  • The roles emphasise what carries over

Leadership, complaints, training, rolling out a system: the new job needs these too. The store’s turnover is deliberately left out.

  • Further training comes before education

It is more recent and matters more for the new role than a qualification from 2013. You are free to choose the order of the sections.

  • The job title describes what stays

“Customer adviser with leadership experience” instead of “store manager”: true, and a fit for the new role.
